Groups of 10 or more receive discounted admission to our IMAX Theaters for documentary films. Our theaters are general admission: first come, first seated. 

Discounts are available for advanced sales only, not valid for same day purchases or previous purchases. Restrictions apply.

Arrange a special morning screening with our IMAX On Demand packages. Choose from any of the films in our IMAX Library, and screen the film before the museum doors open to the public.

IMAX On Demand screenings are offered for groups of 100 or more every morning around 9:15 a.m. (start times vary based on location). Minimum 2-week notice is required to book dates and choice of films is subject to availability. Security fees are applicable.

Discounted IMAX tickets are available for Title I schools and organizations that qualify.

Restrictions apply. Proof of Title I status must accompany order.

We accept all major credit and debit cards or check payments. Please note check payments must be mailed two weeks prior to your date of visit. We do not accept purchase orders.

We do not charge sales tax, so prices listed are your full price.

We require all payments to be finalized 1 week before the day of visit. Check payments must be mailed at least 14 business days prior to your day of visit.

Seats are first come, first served. On the day of your visit, the group leader can direct the group to an area once they are inside the café making selections.

To receive a full refund, requests for refunds and cancellations must be made at least three days prior to the date of your visit. Same day purchases are not available for meal vouchers. They must be purchased at least 1 week in advance. Refunds are not available after the date of your visit.

Vouchers must be redeemed by the date indicated on the voucher.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed in the café.

Yes, please inform a café supervisor so they may inform you of products in the café that suit your needs.

Yes, teachers, chaperones, and tour guides must be included in the total number of tickets requested.

Seating is on first come, first served basis. At this time, we do not offer reserved seating for our on-mission documentary shows.

Yes, you can request a morning screening in the Airbus IMAX Theater at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Screenings typically begin around 9:15 a.m. and conclude after the museum opens.
