"Dressing the Muppets." Miss Piggy's own designer, Calista Hendrickson - who also outfits Kermit, Gonzo, and the rest of the gang - tells what it's like designing for puppets.

"With Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops." The candid story of the beloved conductor, as told by violinist Harry Ellis Dickson, who worked with him for over 40 years.

"Eisenstaedt's Germany." Alfred Eisenstaedt, often called the ''father of photojournalism," contrasts the Germany he knew in the thirties with the country he recently photographed for the first time in 40 years. In addition, the program includes highlights from a recent major symposium exploring twentieth century Germany.

"Giants in the Sea." Marine biologist Clyde Roper talks about an extremely rare find of a 30-foot giant squid, much maligned in "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" but in reality a very shy creature.

"It's a Grand Old Flag"

"Saving the Tropical Rain Forests"

"Wild Pets"

"Alma Thomas Colors the World"

"Picasso - A Detective Story." A look at two fascinating "lost paintings" by Picasso which x-rays recently revealed beneath his first large-scale masterwork, "The Family of Saltimbanques."

"Jewish Patriots." An unprecedented look at the role Jewish-Americans played in financing and supporting the American Revolution, as seen in a new exhibition mounted by the Daughters of the American Revolution.

"Off the Pedestal." The story behind the extraordinary "Women's Pavilion" at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, which brought together such "new women" as Susan B. Anthony, Mary Cassatt, and Mrs. Potter Palmer.

"Inside 'Cheaper by the Dozen.'" Two of the Gilbreth children, whose childhood was chronicled in the book "Cheaper by the Dozen," reminisce about their parents, two of the first 'efficiency experts.'
