Barrientos Family

The Barrientos family was formed by a Spanish ex-soldier and an Indigenous woman from Baracoa, Cuba, in the early 1900s. A diverse contemporary Taíno movement unites people with Native ancestry from across the Caribbean around cultural heritage projects.

La familia Barrientos fue formada por un antiguo soldado español y una mujer indígena de Baracoa (Cuba) a comienzo de los años 1900s. Un movimiento diverso taíno actualmente une a personas de ascendencia indígena de todo el Caribe a través de proyectos de herencia cultural.
