As part of the Living Earth Festival on July 20-22, from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. daily at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., volunteers from the University of New Mexico Alumni Association will roast green chiles at the Farmers’ Market on the museum’s outdoor Welcome Plaza. A portion of the sales of fresh or roasted chiles supports their scholarship fund.
