    Description

    Yellow and gold-colored metal cannister with orange borders. Perforated (shaker) screw cap. J&J red cross logo on front. Descriptions of other J&J baby products on sides including Johnson's Baby Cream, Johnson's Baby Soap, and Johnson's baby Oil. Contains 4 1/2 Oz. powder. Text on label includes: "Made of the finest talc obtainable. Borated and very mildly perfumed. It contains no stearate of zinc or orris root."
    The indications or uses for this product as provided by the manufacturer are: After Baby's Bath -- Dust on freely, being sure to cover every skin fold. It rlieves and prevents chafing, does away with diaper rash and relieves urine scald. When the Diaper is Changed -- After bathing the buttocks, dust on this healing powder. Use it too, on the diaper itself, to soften any roughness. In Hot Weather -- Use freely to relieve or prevent prickly heat.
