Description
This paper model of a cube is dissected into sixteen identical irregular octahedra. The octahedra are hinged together in groups of eight - one group is painted turquoise. The pieces may be arranged to form two snub octahedra (14-sided figures that Wheeler called tetrakaidecahedra) or a cube.

There is a drawing entitled "Cube Separabled into two Tetrakaidekahedra" and dated March 1, 1930 in 1979.3002.40.
