Description
Eight septahedra, in pairs, surround a space the shape of an octahedron. The pieces (together with the octahedron) transform into a cubotahedron. The black plastic regular polyhedron that fits in this model is MA.304723.319.
This is Wheeler's polyhedron model with number 762 that is of a cube dissected into a cuboctahedron and an octahedron. For a related drawing, dated August 14, 1939, see 1979.3002.42. For another example of the model, see MA.304723.316.
