Description
This paper model of a cube is dissected into a snub octahedron and eight identical irregular octahedra. The octahedra are hinged together The pieces may be arranged to form two snub octahedra (14-sided figures that Wheeler called tetrakaidecahedra) or as a cube.
A mark on the model reads: 765. Another mark reads: Cube containing a Tetrakaidecahedron (/) April 1931. A third mark reads: Jan-10-1930.
