Scope and Contents
The map features the architectural details and ground plans of the Tōshōgū, the shrine which was built in 1617 for the tomb of Ieyasu, the first Tokugawa shogun. Included are two portraits, one of the Ieyasu and the other of the third Tokugawa shogun, Iemitsu. There are also views of a procession scene of the Tōshōgū festival, falls, shrines, and other items.
