A 4-inch gold pendant in the form of a mask, a fine example of the goldsmith's art from the Ivory Coast, is the centerpiece of a small exhibition. Representing a male face, the piece may depict a deceased leader or a defeated enemy and may have been attached to a royal sword.
This object is the gift of Mrs. Robert Wood Bliss.
