More than 100 works of art, including textiles, charms, amulets, Koranic and writing boards, horse trappings, puppets, sculpture, masks, and jewelry explore the interaction of Islam and traditional African life. The objects date from the 19th and 20th centuries and are drawn from private collections and museums in the U.S.
