Description
This black and white digital image depicts a young man carrying an American flag. Wearing a light colored long sleeve button down shirt, dark pants, and dark shoes, he stands in the street in front of an embankment. He holds a large American flag upright on a short pole in both hands. He turns his head to his left. On the embankment behind him is the front lawn of a small house. Standing on the edge of the embankment are two men in military combat uniforms. They stand with arms folded, legs apart. Behind them in the yard are several children of various ages. There are several more children standing on the brick porch of the house. The house itself is made of wood clapboard with a front screen door and two sets of steps leading up to the porch. Other similar small houses are visible on either side.
