Description

A 1955 Yellow Jacket Yearbook for Allen University.
The cover is gold and textured. The bottom of the cover features three steps, each with a column on the proper right side. Parts of the columns are indented and they have decorative designs on the bottoms. The top proper left side of the cover has an almost wrinkled appearance and texture. There is a raised image of a scroll. There is blue text on the scroll which reads [1955]. The numbers are going diagonally down from the proper right to the proper left and they are overlapping. There is blue text going horizontally across the bottom step which reads [Yellow Jacket].
There are a few spots on the cover and the corners are slightly worn. The inside cover has a two page blue and white photograph of a brick building. The title page says that the yearbook was presented by the Senior Class.
The yearbook provides information on the academic and social life and the campus buildings.
The bottom proper right side of the back cover has an embossed logo. It is the shape of an open book and has text which reads [Taylor made / YEARBOOKS / DALLAS].
