This basketball card features the NBA's Western Conference Semi-Finals match-up between the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls. The front of the card features an in-game action photo of Los Angeles Lakers center Wilt Chamberlain grabbing a rebound. Looking on is Lakers forward Jim McMillian (#5) and Bulls forward Bob Love (#10). The card’s reverse has the dates and scores of the best-of-seven Western Conference Semi-Final series, which Los Angeles won in seven games.
The Los Angeles Lakers in this series featured four players who had been or were currently NBA All-Stars: Bill Bridges, Wilt Chamberlain, Gail Goodrich, and Jerry West. The Chicago Bulls roster had four such players as well: Bob Love, Jerry Sloan, Norm Van Lier, and Chet Walker.
