Description
This walk through metal detector was used at Ketchikan International Airport (KTN) in Alaska. Before September 11th security equipment used at airport checkpoints were owned by the airlines and operated by private security companies. It is tagged with labels from both Alaska Airlines, from its pre-9/11 usage, and the US Government, from its post-9/11 usage. It was decommissioned in 2002 to make way for newer technology.
