    Object Details

    Artist

Warren Mac Kenzie, born Kansas City, MO 1924

    Luce Center Label

Warren MacKenzie uses his glazes to enhance the shape of a pot. In this teapot, for example, the artist let the glaze fall away from the ridges on the body of the pot. This allows his modeling to stand out against the darker glaze.
