    Description

    An inscription on the cardboard box reads in part “Perfectum / A / Vital Link / in the / Nation’s / Health” and “ONE / INTERCHANGEABLE / TUBERCULIN SYRINGE / manufactured for / popper & sons, inc. new hyde park 11040.” Isidor A. Popper (1886-1974), a Jewish immigrant, established the firm in 1922.
