Summary
In the event of an emergency landing or mission abort of the Apollo spacecraft, sunscreen would have been an important piece of equipment in the survival rucksack. This small plastic container contains sunscreen, designed to protect the astronaut's skin from the sun and wind.
This item was not flown. It was transferred by NASA to NASM in 1978.
