    Description

    This Skeeter Swift basketball card is number 177 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. of New York, New York for the 1973-1974 NBA/ABA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Dallas Spurs guard. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Skeeter runs 2 basketball camps of his own,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistic.
    Harley "Skeeter" Swift spent his entire five-year career in the American Basketball Association, playing for the New Orleans Buccaneers, Memphis Pros, Pittsburgh Condors, Dallas Chaparrals, and San Antonio Spurs. Swift averaged 11.6 points per game during his career and was a terrific free throw shooter connecting on 84.1% of his attempts.
