Summary
These metal scissors are similar to those carried by astronauts during the Apollo program. They were often used to open the plastic bags in which food was rehydrated. The rounded tip of the sciccors prevented accidentally puncturing sensitive items in the spacecraft and minimized the potential of cuts to the astronauts.
