Description
Landscape sketch showing a view of a rocky cliff in the mountains of North Carolina, near Hot Springs. Highlighted in white gouache, the cliffside has many fissures and cracks in its rocks, as well as two evergreen trees on top of it. Other trees behind are loosely rendered at upper right. At lower left, nearby foliage is visible in the foreground. In the background at left, a steep wooded hillside is faintly visible.
