Physical Description

Paper champagne cork-shaped ticket. Ticket for Grande Semaine Aeronautique de la Champagne at Reims, France, August 22-29, 1909. Ticket number 1094, for the grandstand ("enceinte des tribunes"). Cost 10 Francs. One crescent-shaped hole punched in bottom, presumably indicating one day of attendance. Metal grommet at center top. Tan cardstock with black printing. Text on reverse idicates valid dates, need to get a hole punch for re-entry, the committee can change the schedule as needed, ticket is not refundable, lost tickets will not be replaced, it cannot be transferred or loaned, and must be worn prominently.
