    Description

    A color photograph depicting Jesse Jackson at a protest outside of the White House in 1975. Jackson is depicted walking down a city street with a large crowd of people. Wearing a long dark brown coat over a lighter brown sweater, light colored shirt and brown tie, he carries a handwritten sign that reads "JOBS / NOT / BOMBS." He is flanked on either side by men also carrying handwritten signs; the man to his left holds a sign that reads "JOBS / NOT / BOMB..." The man on Jesse Jackson's left has linked his arm through Mr. Jackson's. He holds a handwritten sign that reads "JOBS / PEACE /..REEDOM." Behind them is a crowd of people holding signs and placards, including a red peace sign with yellow letters that read "PEACE" and a sign below that reads "with Jesse Jackson." On the back is an inscription and a Ronald R. Hanna stamp.
