    Description (Brief)

Pave The Way skate deck is a maple wood laminate with a green top surface. The bottom has a green and black checkerboard design throughout. Some of the squares have well known LGBTQ performers, athletes and activists. Created by Tara Jepsen, a queer writer and performer and Miriam Klein Stahl, a queer graphic artist and teacher, Pave The Way skateboards celebrates being queer and living life through skate without fear of expressing who you are. Jepsen and Stahl’s board depicts a collection of queer icons who impressed upon them an ethos of acceptance and versatility reflected in their impact on skate culture.
