Description

This is a black and white photograph of Norman Lewis standing in front of a gray background with light and dark shadows giving the background a textured appearance. Lewis is seen in the middle of the lower half of the image. He is seen wearing a black and white striped shirt and dark, twill jacket. He looks at the viewer with eyebrows raised. Lewis' shadow is in the middle of the top of the image. The image is bordered in a narrow black line from the original negative frame. The image is on a white background. Below the image in the bottom of the sheet is handwritten text in black with the title, date, and artist's signature.
