    Description

    An albumen print on cabinet card depicting a man next to a four-wheeled cart pulled by an ox and mule. The man is standing on the proper left side of the cart, between two (2) wheels. The man is elderly and has a large white beard. He is wearing a hat, vest, shirt and pants. The cart has a flat bed loaded with various objects. The ox and mule are yoked together to a single pole between the animals. Behind the cart is a brick facade with several doors and windows. The photograph is faded with a yellowish tint and mounted to a piece of board with rounded corners that is green on the front and gray on the back. A small hole is located at the top center of the backing board. The back is printed with text identifying the series and photographer.
