Summary
Among the items issued to astronauts are Velcro-backed name tags that can be attached to their flight suits and jackets. This name tag is a spare for Shuttle astronaut Robert L. Crippen, who served as pilot on the first Shuttle mission (STS-1, Columbia, 1981) and as commander on STS-7 (Challenger, 1983), STS 41-C and STS 41-G (both on Challenger in 1984).
