Poster advertising the 1973 Memphis Gospel Festival A large poster in red, black, and green ink on an off-white background advertising for the 1973 Memphis Gospel Festival hosted in the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee. Headliners include Rev. James Cleveland and His Choir and Inez Andrews. Additional acts include the Swan Silvertones, the Stepter Four Singers and the Little Tabernacle Choir, the World Famous Soul Stirrers, the Violinaires, and the Stars of Faith. The Master of Ceremonies is Ford Nelson of WDIA Radio. The names of the acts are printed in black text against alternating red and green shapes, accompanied by black-and-white photographs of the performers. Small print at the bottom reads [GLOBE POSTER - BALTIMORE]. There are no marks on the back. H x W: 35 × 20 3/4 in. (88.9 × 52.7 cm)
