    Description (Brief)

    This engraved printing plate was prepared to print the image "Macroura. Pl. 33" for the publication "United States Exploring Expedition, During the Years 1838, 1839, 1840, 1841, 1842," Volume 13-14, Crustacea, Atlas, in the edition Philadelphia : C. Sherman, 1855. The plate images were engraved by W. H. Dougal after J. D. Dana.
