Description
Landscape sketch showing a view of a lake, likely Millinocket Lake in Maine, from its heavily wooded shoreline during autumn. In the foreground, a grassy slope at right hosts a tree with fiery red-orange leaves. At left and right, loosely rendered groups of green and brown trees frame an expansive view of a lake and a distant mountain, at center. Shaped like a shallow triangle, the mountain is rendered in hues of pink and lavender. Wispy clouds hang in an otherwise blue sky above.
