Summary
Bronze bust of James J. Hill. Hill is shown with beard and moustache, wearing an overcoat. The bust sits atop a tall granite base. On three of the four sides of the base, near the bottom, are bronze relief plaques. The plaque in front depicts a train; side plaques depict a steamship and a farmer plowing. A fourth plaque, now missing, was decorated with the Seal of Washington.
