Object Details

Description

This ;purple and black plastic respiratro was used by ironworker James A. Connor on the World Trade Center rescue, recovery, and removal job. Mr. Connor participated in the search-and-rescue effort and helped clear debris from the World Trade Center site from September 12, 2001 to January 2002. Mr. Connor was an ironworker from New York’s Local 40 Ironworkers Union who had been working on the Williamsburg Bridge renovation when the attack occurred.
