Summary
This pressure helmet was used by various astronauts during training exercises prior to the Apollo missions of the late 1960s.
It was constructed by ILC Industries of a transparent polycarbonate shell designed to attach to the spacesuit's blue neck ring with a blue anodized aluminum neck ring disconnect. A beta cloth and anodized aluminium vent pad was attached to the rear with a valsalva device attached to the inner ring disconnect and a feed port to the left of the astronaut's head.
