Description (Brief)

This engraved printing plate was prepared to print the image "Haplopetalon Richii" for the publication "United States Exploring Expedition, During the Years 1838, 1839, 1840, 1841, 1842," Volume 15, Botany - Panerogamia - Atlas, Plate 76, in the edition Philadelphia : C. Sherman & Son, 1856. The plate images were engraved by W. H. Dougal after Issac Sprague.
