The Great Hall of the Smithsonian Institution Building in 1971. The hall at this time was beginning to be used to provide information on the events and exhibitions at the Smithsonian. For the 125th Anniversary of the Smithsonian each museum was represented by a case of objects and a display, as seen in this picture.
