    The cool blonde star of Alfred Hithcock’s Rear Window (1954) and Charles Walters’s High Society (1956), Grace Kelly began acting on Broadway and in early television before pursuing a movie career in the early 1950s. She won a Best Actress Oscar in 1954 for The Country Girl, co-starring with Bing Crosby. In 1956 she retired from movies to marry Prince Rainier III of Monaco in one of the most thoroughly covered news events of the 1950s.

    Grace Kelly, la serena y elegante estrella rubia de Rear Window y High Society, actuó en Broadway y en televisión antes de dedicarse al cine en la década de 1950. Ganó un Oscar a la mejor actriz en 1954 por The Country Girl, la cual protagonizó con Bing Crosby. En 1956 se retiró del cine para casarse con el príncipe Rainiero III de Mónaco en uno de los eventos mediáticos más difundidos de la década.
