Summary
This pair of gloves was made by ILC during the development of the lunar extra-vehicular glove for the Apollo program. The gloves were used by astronaut Charles Conrad during testing and for some training.
Further developments made in the final design for the lunar extra-vehicular gloves included blue silicone fingertips and a shorter gauntlet.
NASA transferred this to the Museum in 1976.
