These twenty purple plastic rhombic parallelepipeds are encased in a clear green plastic parallelepiped.

There is a drawing, dated April 26, 1939, in 1979.0102.42 for a model of an "oblique parallelopiped transformable into a right prism." It does not match this model in any obvious way.
