Description
This paper model is of a dissected cuboctahedron. The pieces are eight triangular pyramids (tan) and six square pyramids with sides painted red and tan bases. A paper framework in the center of the model holds the pieces in place. They can be rearranged to a cube intersecting a regular octahedron (with a hollow interior) Stored in folded paper box. Model MA.304723.302 serves as the filler for MA*304723.299. Hence the two models together can be considered as a transformation of two cubocatahedra into a cube intersecting a regular octahedron. A mark on the object reads: April-19-1930 (/) Cuboctahedron (/) 779.
