    Description

    This tin glazed drug jar is decorated with a cobalt blue festoon surrounded by flowers, leaves, and an outstretched hand holding the Rod of Asclepius. Just below the festoon is a Caduceus. Geoffroyae refers to the bark of the cabbage tree, which was used as a cure for parasitic worms.
    A rectangular green and ivory paper label is glued to the back of the container. The writing on the label is illegible. This container is similar to 1991.0664.849 and .850.
