    Description

United States Football League (USFL) trading card for quarterback Reggie Collier’s 1984 season with the Washington Federals. The front of the card is white with an image of two football players framed in red and blue bands. The player in the foreground, Washington Federals Center Brian Musselman, is positioned with his proper right hand holding the ball on the ground, ready to snap the ball. Standing behind him, ready to receive the snap, is a Quarterback wearing the number 10 jersey. The image used on the card actually depicts Joe Gilliam, who wore the number 10 jersey in 1983 rather than Collier. The top of the card reads: [PREMIER USFL TM EDITION] in blue and red text. At the bottom of the front of the card is a graphic of a Washington Federals helmet in profile next to a yellow band with the text: [FEDERALS / REGGIE COLLIER / QB]. The back of the card is red with blue and white fields with red and white text and a graphic of a football with the number [125] in the upper left corner. The text at the top of the card reads: [REGGIE / COLLIER / QUARTERBACK WASHINGTON] with a clover-shaped symbol before the word [WASHINGTON]. Below is information on Collier’s height, weight, college, birthdate and home. In the two white and blue fields below the biographical data are his college and USFL career stats. At the bottom of the card, in a blue field, is a section with text that reads: [USEFUL FACTS / FEDERAL’S HOME: ROBERT F. KENNEDY MAMORIAL STADIUM 9CAPACITY: 54,794) / © 1982, 1984 USFL © 1984 TOPPS CHEWSING GUM, INC. PRINTD. IN USA **]. There are no inscriptions on the front or the back of the card.
