This camera lens filter is one of numerous pieces of camera equipment available to astronauts during the Gemini program. With longer missions and more room inside the spacecraft, astronauts worked on more extensive photographic experiments during Gemini than previous Mercury flights.
NASA transferred this filter to the Museum in 1971.
