Description
Landscape sketch showing a view of a hilly and mountainous landscape in Vermont in early autumn. A group of red and green trees is shown in the immediate foreground at lower right, while a grassy hillside extends through the foreground and into the middle distance, where two other heavily wooded hills are visible. In the background, a rugged range of mountains with a pointed summit at right is rendered in gray-blue paint beneath a dark, overcast sky.
