Description
This black and white photograph shows the crowd outside of Ebenezer Baptist Church for Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday commemoration in 1969. The crowd is exiting between open double doors from the church onto the sidewalk. The sign above the door reads [EBENEZER / BAPTIST / CHURCH] and has a cross at the top. The letters on the sign are in white with tubular light bulbs in the shape of each letter. The back of the photograph has a manufacturer's mark, photographer's stamp and a handwritten inscription.
