Made during a 1967 demonstration held by the U.S. Department of Agriculture at the Smithsonian's Arts and Industries Building (Washington, DC) and donated to the Indian Arts and Crafts Board by the artist in 1967; part of the IACB Headquarters collection (Department of the Interior, Washington, DC) until 2000 when it was transferred to NMAI.
