    Created during a carving demonstration by the artist sponsored by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board and held on the Makah Reservation (Neah Bay, Washington); purchased by Indian Arts and Crafts Board representatives from the artist in 1965; part of the IACB Headquarters collection (Department of the Interior, Washington, DC) until 2000 when it was transferred to NMAI.
