    Summary

Water connectors such as this were attached to the Apollo spacesuit on the front upper torso. They were attached through all layers of the suit, and connected to the portable life support system through a hose.
An interior valve was connected to the liquid cooling garment which was worn by the astronaut underneath the spacesuit. This cooling garment helped the astronaut maintain body temperature by enabling cool water to be circulated through the tubes which in turn was cooled or heated to the appropriate body temperature in the portable life support system.
    Transferred from NASA in 1978.
