Description

Printed scarf to commemorate the U.S. Bicentennial. Inside a blue border are official state seals of forty-nine states in gold on a red ground. In center is a rectangle containing a US map in red on a light blue ground. The rectangle also contains: the state seal of Hawaii on the lower left and on the lower right are the figures of liberty and justice. At the top of the rectangle is George Washington in the Chariot of Liberty. A quote above the chariot reads: "Where Liberty Dwells, There Is My Country." Hanging as a swag from the frame is: "1776 United States 1976."
