    Black polyester; single breasted with 2 black buttons down front, 1 upper left breast and 2 lower flap pockets; 2 wine-colored stripes and Piedmont logo on cuff; black nylon lining; 1 button gone.

    Piedmont Airlines, 1989
    Established in North Carolina in 1948, Piedmont was a popular Southern and Mid-Atlantic regional airline noted for its excellent service and “southern hospitality.” It merged with USAir in 1989. This was the last style of uniform worn by Piedmont flight attendants.
