    Description

    This dark brown mink stole was worn by Dinah Washington. The stole has a straight back, shoulders that fall midway at the upper arm, and two front tails that end below the waist. The stole is lined with a grayish brown silk brocaded in dark brown and blue floral springs. Self-fabric pockets are attached to each interior front near the ends. The name "Dinah" is machine-embroidered in dark brown thread above the pocket on the interior proper right front. A brown label with gold machine lettering is sewn at the interior center back neck with text reading "dein-bacher / of the WALDORF ASTORIA".
